From Volunteering to Vending, there’s a role for everyone.
Volunteers
It takes over 200 people to make the river roar each year, and there is a role to suit every skillset and ability.
Check back here for the Expression of Interest soon.
Vendors for 2026
We’re looking for a variety of food vendors for our Friday evening Community Event and Saturday & Sunday at the Telegraph Road Spectator Area.
Expressions of Interest for food providers at the 2026 event are now open – please complete the Expression of Interest and we will be in touch!
If you’re interested in vending something other than food, please contact our Event Secretary at eventsecretary@donriverdash.com.au
Spectator Information Kit
We’ll add information here close to the time of the event, covering everything from great places to watch the race from, to a spectators timetable, and more.
Photography & Media
Photographer spots in the river’s centre exclusion zone are limited for safety reasons. If you would like one of these roles, please complete an Expression of Interest before 15 May 2026.
Keen to snap the action without official accreditation? Head to the Gladstone Park Rd Spectator Area — the river narrows here, giving you a safe but close-up view from the river banks.
Tag us on socials if you capture a great shot — we love sharing fan photos!
